About the Artist
Jordan Alyssa has been singing since her soul arrived earth side. Rooted in Atlanta’s creative energy, she began her vocal and theater training at the Art Station in Stone Mountain, GA at age 8, later attending DeKalb School of the Arts, working with Kenny Leon and True Colors Theatre Company, and joining the Freddie Hendricks Youth Ensemble of Atlanta. While continuing her work in local Atlanta & Washington D.C. Theater, she earned a BA in Theatre and Vocal Music Performance from Spelman College.

Upon completing her degree, Jordan went on to spend the next decade plus singing and dancing on various stages around the world. Her credits include performances onboard major cruise lines like Carnival and Celebrity, Princess Kibibi in Festival of the Lion King at Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom (where she became a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association), and a residency at The Shilla Hotel at Jeju, South Korea as a lead vocalist with Dreamgirls LIVE!

A long time background vocalist, some of her most memorable performances include touring with Grammy-nominated artist Janelle Monáe & the ArchOrchestra as they opened for the late Prince at Madison Square Gardens and Amy Winehouse for Summer Soul Festival 2011 Tour in Brazil, AfroPunk Festival with Atlanta native, Rahbi, and joining Killer Mike & The Mighty Midnight Revival on the High & Holy Tour, Down By Law Tour, and S.T.T.S. Tour with Dave Chappelle.

When she takes centerstage, Jordan showcases her melodic vocals and dynamic range in her self-curated tribute shows Divas and Queen of Soul, honoring icons like Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Patti LaBelle, and Tina Turner.

As a singer-songwriter and certified “Lover Girl”, Jordan Alyssa’s original music immerses listeners into her dream world. Her songs are honest and romantic, often exploring themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Her upcoming single Delulu, releasing August 29, 2025, reflects on a pivotal encounter with love and opens the door to a new era of her artistry.
